The Rezk Collection of Tibetan Art from the Permanent Collection of the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art (SAMA) (New 6/98) On-line exhibition features the exhibition held at SAMA in 1998; Contains 85 images with didactic text and 47 essays written by guest curators. Subject matter includes: Adi Buddhas, Arhats, Bardo, Bhaishajayaguru, Bodhisattvas, Buddhas, Herukas, Prajnas, Jina Buddhas, Mandalas, Protective Deities, Ritual Implements, Shakyamuni Buddha, Stupas, Sukhavati, Teachers, Tara.

The Asia Society Presents "Mandala: The Architecture of Enlightenment" In the fall of 1997, the Asia Society presented "Mandala: The Architecture of Enlightenment," the first exhibition ever devoted to the multiple manifestations of the mandala throughout Asia. A mandala is an ancient Hindu and Buddhist graphic symbol of the universe a cosmic diagram that functions as a powerful aid to meditation and concentration.
